BASIC LIFE SUPPORT(CPR)

Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers. It is the foundation for life saves after cardiac arrest. Instructor led course that teach both single and team, how to perform CPR. Trains participants to promptly recognize life threatening emergencies, delivery high quality chest compression, appropriate ventilation and provide early use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

TACTICAL COMBAT CASUALTY CARE (TCCC)

This Course is designated for medical and non-medical personnel and includes first responders knowledge and practical skills essential for military contractors, PSD, soldiers deploying on combat operations. Curriculum developed by the Joint Trauma System. TCCC is the NATO Standard of Care for managing Trauma in the Battle space.

PRE-HOSPITAL TRAUMA LIFE SUPPORT (PHTLS)

Two-day course for EMTs, paramedics, nurses, physicians assistant and other prehospital providers designed to increase skills and knowledge stressing the treatment of multi-trauma patients with a unique approach to specific patient needs, delivering critical care interventions to increase survival rate.

PEDIATRIC ADVANCED CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT (PALS)

This classroom, instructor led course uses a series of videos and simulated pediatric emergencies reinforce the important concepts of systematic approach to peadiatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation and team dynamics. The goal of the PALS course is to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, resulting in improved outcomes.

PRE-DEPLOYMENT MEDICAL REFRESHER TRAINING

This two-day training event will introduce deploying personnel to the basics of life-saving skills and equipment centered on the curriculum of the Committee for Tactical Combat Casualty Care (CoTCCC).

This training will cover:

1. The contests of the Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK) that will be issued to everyone deploying.

2. How to use the material equipment in the IFAK.

3. Phases of care at the point of injury

4. Extraction and evacuation of patients from non-standard vehicles.

5. Refresher of 9- line evacuation procedures.

The training will be a mix of didactic and field training. It is extremely hands on an will incorporate the use of trauma simulation to allow proficiency to be gained by all students.

FIRST AID/ CPR-AED

This course is designed to prepare students to provide First Aid, CPR and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely and effective matter. Heartsaver First Aid / CPR -AED is the eLearning portion of the heartsaver Blended Learning Course designed to teach student the information needed for First Aid CPR-AED training. Upon completion of the online portion, students must complete hand on skill session with an AHA instructor.
